The Web connector retrieves data from a Web site using HTTP and starting from a specified URL.

The Web connector V2 is available in Fusion 5.6.1 and later.

If crawls fail with a corrupted CrawlDB error, reinstall the connector.

When entering configuration values in the UI, use unescaped characters, such as \t for the tab character. When entering configuration values in the API, use escaped characters, such as \\t for the tab character.
