    Pin key products to align with marketing strategies

    You can pin products based on different conditions to align with your marketing strategies. Pinning puts the item in a specified positions in the search results.

    1. In the Visual Editor, locate the key product.

    2. Click the + Add button on the item.

    3. Select Pin from the list of actions.

    4. This creates an unpublished rule. Go to the Ranking Rules page to publish it.

    If pinned products underperform, adjust rules to rotate featured items or change positioning.

    Pinning key products makes them always visible, aligning with marketing goals and improving conversion for high-priority promotions.

    Create curated product result sets

    Pin multiple products to align with holiday or event-based collections. Thematic collections enhance product discovery, improving customer engagement with featured or promotional items.

    1. In the Visual Editor, select the Pin items quick action from the sidebar.

    2. Select the checkboxes for the items you want to pin.

    3. This creates an unpublished rule. Go to the Ranking Rules page to publish it.

    If collections do not resonate with customers, adjust product selection or reposition featured products. Use customer feedback or search behavior to refine which products are included in the curated collections, enhancing relevance and appeal.

    Boost seasonal products

    Create rules to boost seasonal items and products so that they are prominently featured in search results, improving visibility during the desired period.

    1. In the Visual Editor, navigate to the seasonal product category.

    2. Select the checkboxes next to the items you want to boost.

    3. Click Add Rule.

    4. Select Boost from the list of actions.

    5. This creates an unpublished rule. Go to the Ranking Rules page to publish it.

    If seasonal stock is limited, you can create an alternate rule to boost only high-stock items. Additionally, you may schedule a second rule to demote the seasonal products once the season ends.
